Arkansas
RRL recently lifted a building in Arkansas that needed to be 2’ higher. The general contractor was faced with an expensive choice of demoing internal walls, the roof structure, etc. and lifting the existing roof height using a crane. That process would have been labor intensive and would have required months to demo and reconstruct, as well as wasting existing materials.
RRL was able to lift the entire roof structure by placing our jacks under the horizontal member of the portal frame building at specified lift points, and lift the entire roof in one smooth motion in a single day! Portal frame extensions of 2’ were added to the vertical component of the portal frame at the haunch, and then the portal frame beam was just bolted back together!
